Four persons injured in mine blast

Agartala, Apr 11 (UNI) Four tribals were seriously injured in a landmine explosion in West District last evening, police today said.

Police said suspected All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) rebels blasted the mines at Amincrack under Mandai Police Station, about 20 kms from here.

The injured, between 16 to 30 years, were admitted to the G B Hospital here.

Police suspect that the rebels carried out the explosion to cause harm to the security personnel carrying out anti insurgency operation.

A massive search operation has been launched to nab the militants.
