Court records statements of accused

Patna, Apr 11 (UNI) Additional district and sessions judge of Patna R S Rai today recorded the statements of 14 accused including an MLA in connection with murder of then district magistrate of Gopalganj G Krishnaiya.

The statements of JD(U) MLA Vijay Kumar Shukla and 13 others charge sheeted accused were recorded by the court during the day.

Others accused in the case are former MP Anand Mohan and his wife Lovely Anand.

G Krishnaiya was killed by an angry mob on NH-38 in Muzzaffarpur district in 1994.
