Court directs to attach Mukhtyar's property

Jabalpur, Apr 11 (UNI) A local court has issued directions to attach the property of Mukhtyar Malik, an accused in gangwar in Bhopal District Court premises, if he failed to appear before it by May 15.

Malik alias Javed Khan alias Mustafir Malik, who belongs to Bhopal, has been absconding since his conviction in connection with the use of firearms in broad daylight in the Bhopal District Court premises about a decade back.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Rajeev Karmahe yesterday directed Malik to appear before it in order to reply to the complainant.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court had handed down capital punishment to Mukhtyar Malik and Aasif Mamu and awarded life term to nine accused, including Munne Painter.

Three accused had fled before the verdict was delivered.

Later, Painter surrendered before a court in state capital.
