Core Project sales up 130 pc

Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) Core Projects&Technologies Limited, a premier service provider in the Education, Logistics, Enterprise Resource Planing (ERP) and Healthcare segments, has recorded a 130 per cent year-on-year (YoY) jump in its last finacial year's consolidated net sales at Rs 199.66 crore against Rs 86.72 crore in the last fiscal, and has declared a final dividend of 10 per cent.

The dividend includes 5 per cent interim dividend it had declared earlier on October 30, 2006.

Consolidated net profit for the year has risen substantially by 217 per cent YoY to Rs 33.48 crore against Rs 10.55 crore in the previous fiscal, a press release said.

On a standalone basis, the Company's net sales rose up by 231 per cent YoY at Rs 69.69 crore from Rs 21 crore the previous fiscal. The standalone net profit in the last financial year was up by 128 per cent, at Rs 11.64 crore from Rs 5.09 crore.

The standalone results include the figures of Software Technical Services Limited, a professional services company acquired in Februray 2006, the release clarified.

For the quarter ended March 31 this year, the consolidated turnover grew by 154 per cent YoY to Rs 79.82 crore against Rs 31.37 crore for the same period in the previous fiscal. Consolidated net profit for the quarter was up 174 per cent YoY, at Rs 12.56 crore from Rs 4.58 crore.

During the quarter, Core acquired a 100 per cent stake in New-Hampshire-based Emacs Technologies, a project ,management company, and Bangalore-based ERP and Aarman Software Private Limited, Core added.

The company has offices in US, UK, Africa, Middle East and in India. In India, Core has a state-of-the-art global delivery center at Navi Mumbai and a SAP (a computer software used for managing databases) competency center in Bangalore.
