APCC condemns attack on APYC General Secretary

Itanagar, Apr 11 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee(APCC) today strongly condemned Monday's incident, where miscreants attempted to stab Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress(APYC) General Secretary Berlin Deori.

While expressing concern over the incident, APCC general secretary T C Tok urged the state to take stern action against the culprits involved and book them within seven days.

On April 9, Mr Berlin, son of APCC president Omem Moyong Deori, was accompanying his mother to the helipad at Rajbhawan to welcome AICC Northeast In-charge Oscar Fernandes and observer and Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunshi, who came to attend the Congress Legislature Party meeting, when about 10-12 boys dragged him from his vehicle and attempted to stab him.
