32-yr-old Chennai resident found dead in Paharganj hotel

New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) A 32-year-old Chennai resident, returned recently from Saudi Arabia, was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in a Paharganj hotel in Central Delhi.

Rehmat Ullah, who had checked-in at Hotel Star View in Paharganj on April 7, was found lying dead in his room this morning after the police broke opened the room door on the complaint of the hotel owner, said sources.

Though no external injuries have been found on the body, which has been sent for post mortem, as per the police, 'insiders' said strangulation marks were seen.

The hotel staff complained to the police after Rehmat was not seen since last evening and did not respond to their calls this morning.

Rehmat had arrived in Delhi from Saudi Arabia on April 7.
