2 booked for violating model code of conduct

Basti, Apr 11 (UNI) Two persons were today booked for violating the model code of conduct in Captanganj assembly segment here.

District Election Officer Saurabh Babu said the accused are Jal Nigam contractors Naushad Alam and Ram Asrey Chaudhary. Both of them are guilty of influencing voters by placing handpumps in different areas of the Captangang assembly seat.
