Woman, daughters commit suicide in Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) A 40-yr-old woman along with her two teenaged daughters jumped from the second floor of a building in Shahdara area of north-east Delhi this evening.

Kanchan and her two daughters aged 14 and 18 jumped from the second floor of their Chota Bazaar residence in Shahdara at about 1915 hrs, said a senior police official. All the three were rushed to a nearby nursing home but were later admitted to Sushruti Trauma Cenre after their condition did not improve.

The police said it seems to be a case of attempted suicide though investigations are continuing.

Her husband Arvind Kumar is a grocer dealing in rice.
