Vegetable prices rise on increased demand

Navi Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) Prices of vegetables displayed a firm trend as improved bulk consumers demand in the face of lesser supply, traders at the wholesale vegetable markets said here today.

Following are the ex-prices of vegetables per 10 kg in rupees: Potato 115/150, Tomato 145/160, Brinjal 275/300, Cabbage 210/245, Lady's finger 160/180, Cauliflower 230/270, Onion 195/225, Bitter seed 400/450, Carrot 325/400.
