Two notorious criminals arrested

Hajipur, Apr 10 (UNI) Two notorious criminals were arrested from Shivnagar village in Vaishali district late last night and a huge quantity of explosives was recovered from their possession.

Police today said acting on a tip-off a raid was conducted at a hideout in Shivnagar village and leading to the arrest of the criminals.

Two pistols, one rifle and a huge quantity of explosives were recovered from the possession of the criminals.

The arrested criminals--Lakhinder Rai and Bijness Rai, were wanted in connection with a number of cases including murder, loot, dacoity and extortions.
