TDP distributes candles, plastic fans protesting power crisis
Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 9 (UNI) Telegu Desam Party(TDP) activists today distributed candles and plastic fans in protest against the erratic power supply in 36th Ward division.
Speaking on the occasion, former minister and senior TDP leader G Butchaiah Chowdary alleged that the Government's mishandling of power had caused considerable hardships to the people in the state.
He said the government is unable to meet the minimum requirements of power and the production has come down because of erratic supply.
It is because of the government's negligence, proper analytical calculations were not made for demand and supply, he added.
Mr Butchaiah said the students were finding it difficult to prepare for their examinations and criticised the Congress government for its inept performance. During the TDP tenure there was no cut in the domestic supply, he added.
He said candles and plastic fans would be distributed in other wards also.
