Tata Steel BoD to consider fund raising for Corus on Apr 17
New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) Having clinched the 12-billion-dollar deal for acquisition of the United Kingdom's Corus Group Plc, Tata Steel will raise equity funds to finance the transaction.
The Board of Directors of the company will meet on April 17 to consider possible proposals for raising equity funds as part of its long-term fund raising exercise.
The move is intended to pump in the required investment in Tata Steel UK, the special purpose vehicle formed for the purpose.
