Subhash Projects secures Rs 309cr orders

New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) Subhash Projects&Marketing Ltd today said it has bagged RS 309 crore orders for execution of power projects.

The projects include Rs 220 crore from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd and Hubli Electricity Supply Co Ltd in Karnataka and Rs 89 crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) in Bihar on turnkey basis.

The scope of work in Karnataka includes upgradation of existing sub-stations, construction of 220/110/66 KV sub-stations and transmission lines.

The PGCIL contract in Bihar involves construction of new underground cabling as well as revamp of existing lines under the APDRP Phase II.

The completion period for the above projects is 6-18 months, a company statement said.

The company's power business contributes to around 50 per cent of total order book, currently at Rs 2,900 crore.

The company primarily engaged in cconstruction business forayed into power space in 2001.
