'Sangat Darshan' for public grievances not for govt employees
Chandigarh, Apr 10 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has clarified that the 'Sangat Darshans' are only meant for the public who have been deprived of justice or grievances, to redress their genuine problems.
The state employees should meet their respective heads of the departments or ministers concerned for their grievances, the Chief Minister said while addressing a 'Sangat Darshan' programme here today.
He directed the official to patiently listen to the grievances and complaints of people and redress their problems sympathetically.
Mr Badal today listened to more than 600 people and received 254 complaints and applications. These were mostly related with pension cases, tubewell connections, police cases and transfers.
Meanwhile the Chief Minister directed the officers of the departments concerned to submit compliance report on action taken with regard to the complaints/grievances of the people within a week. The Chief Minister assured the people of full support and cooperation to resolve their genuine problems on the priority basis.
