Regularisation of unauthorised colonies within 3 months: Reddy

New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) Union Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy said unauthorised colonies would be regularised within three months.

He was speaking to newspersons at a function organised by the Delhi Development Authority to launch integrated management system.

Mr Reddy hoped the online computerisation would help DDA serve citizens more effectively.

He said transparency could make the DDA shed an image of a ''corrupt organisation''. Mr Reddy praised the organisation and said, ''if 20 per cent of Delhi is green today, the credit exclusively goes to the DDA.'' ''The Integrated Management System (IMS) will address the ever increasing gap between DDA and the burgeoning population,'' he added.

He refused to comment on the Supreme Court's observation on the sealing drive.
