Police recover seven bodies of TBC ultras
Latehar, Apr 10 (UNI) Police today recovered bodies of seven Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) ultras, including its supremo Murariji alias Sagarji, who were killed in a clash with the banned CPI (Maoist) yesterday in jungle near Bhar village, about 60 km from here, in Jharkhand.
Besides the TPC supremo's body, two other bodies were identified as that of Kaushal Ganjhu (14) belonging to Chatua village under Balumath police station and Manpeet Ganjhu (27) of Simaria village.
However, the body of one slain from the CPI (Maoist) group during the nearly three-hour encounter was understood to have been taken away by the naxalites.
Though the gun batttle began about 1330 hours and continued till 1600 hours yesterday, an additional police force could not make way to the jungle due to heavy downpour till late last night.
Police today recovered the bodies after a search operation in deep jungle.
The police said the encounter to the inter-gang rivalry triggered by their desperate bid for show of strength in the respecticve areas, dominated by the Naxalites.
During the about three-hour encounter, both sides fired hundreds of rounds.
