Nokia Siemens appoints head for India, Nepal

New Delhi, Apr 10: Telecommunications equipment vendor Nokia Siemens Networks today appointed Mr Ashish Chowdhary as Head of India and Nepal sub-regions.

As the Head, Mr Chowdhary will oversee all operations of the company in India. Prior to this, he was holding the position of Country Head.

He joined Nokia in December 2003 and has been responsible for the Nokia Networks business and operational matters in India.

Prior to joining Nokia, he was Senior Director and Vice President for Enterprise Business with Hughes Network Systems, US and Hughes Escorts Communications Ltd, India, respectively.
