Nikkei opens down 0.6 pct, Sony,recent gainers fall

TOKYO, Apr 10 (Reuters) The Nikkei share average fell 0.64 percent on Tuesday, with recent gainers such as Sony Corp.

falling after the benchmark logged its highest close in nearly six weeks the previous session.

The Nikkei was down 112.74 points at 17,631.02 as of 0001 GMT. The TOPIX shed 0.55 percent to 1,728.49.
