Mukhiya shot dead in Jamui

Jamui, Apr 10 (UNI) Two people, including a Mukhiya, were shot dead by criminals near Dundo village in Jamui district today.

District police superintendent A K Ambedkar said the criminals sprayed bullets on Mukhiya of Mirzaganj Panchayat Jagdish Mahto and his associate Ishwar Paswan, when they were on way to Sikandra from Jamui. Both victims died on the spot.

The motive behind the killing was stated to be an old enmity, he added.

Raids were on to nab the culprits.
