IOC plans to enter Russian oil and gas sector

New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) IndianOil Corporation (IOC) is looking to partner in a 12-15 million tonne per annum refinery project at Nizhnekansk in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The cost of the refinery is estimated between six and seven billion dollars, sources said.

During 2006, the Republic of Tatarstan produced 32 million metric tonne of crude oil from its production facilities.
