HM militant apprehended IED, arms recovered

Jammu, 10 Apr (UNI) Security forces today apprehended a militant of Harkat-ul Mujahideen (HM) and recovered arms and IEDs in Jammu and Kashmir, Army sources said here.

On a tip-off, the Army in a joint operation arrested Ghulam Nabi Alias Jaffar, 26, in Kishtwar.

One Insas rifle, two magazines, one Chinese grenade and 7 rounds were recovered from his possession.

In another incident one pt 30 Chinese pistol, one pistol magazine and two Chineses hand grenades were recovered in a cache at Malhan in Poonch district.

Three powerful improved explosive devices (IEDs) and other explosives were recovered from at Bagga-Angrala road under Mohore police station in Udhampur district. The EIDs were destroyed later.
