Govt teachers not boycotting valuation: GTA

Hyderabad, Apr 10 (UNI) The Government Teachers Association (GTA) today said the teachers had not boycotted the valuation of tenth standard examination papers and that it was "successfully" going on at designated centres.

In a statement here, GTA Hyderabad unit President Mohd Amjad Ali and General Secretary C J Arunkumar said the SSC results would be announced as scheduled.

It may recalled that the members of the Joint Action Committee of Teachers' Organisations (JACTO) were boycotting the spot valuation, in protest against the judgements of the Tribunal and the High Court for combined seniority for government teachers and zilla parishad teachers.
