Ela Bhatt to deliver 8th D P Kohli Memorial Lecture

New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) Noted social activist and founder of Self Employed Women's Association (SEWA) Ela R Bhatt would deliver the 8th D P Kohli Memorial Lecture, organised in honour of the CBI's founder Director, at the Vigyan Bhawan tomorrow.

A recipient of Padma Bhusan and the Ramon Magsaysay Award, Ms Bhatt would speak on 'Freedom and Security: Women's View'.

Union Minister of State for Personnel Suresh Pachauri will preside over the function and give the D P Kohli Memorial Award to T. Subba Reddy of Anti-Corruption Branch, Hyderabad, for the 'Best Detective Constable for the year 2006.

UNI
