Court stays transfer of two CBI judges hearing fodder case
Ranchi, Apr 10 (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court today stayed the transfer of two CBI special judges--J K N Tiwary and U S P Sinha-- hearing multi-crore fodder scam.
The Monitoring bench, comprising Justice Muthuswamy Karpagvinayagam and Permod Kohli, heard the writ petition filed by Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Laln Sigh in this regard.
Mr Rajesh Kumar appearing on behalf of the CBI today submitted its report as per the court's earlier order.
Earlier, the court had granted four weeks to the CBI to submit its supplementary status report in connection with the proceedings of the fodder scam cases.
Mr Kumar argued that the transfer order against the two CBI Special Judges could be stayed as four cases related to the fodder scam were being heard by them.
And the cases were expected to conclude in the next three months if they were not transferred.
