Court reserves order in IAS bribery case
Bhopal, Apr 10 (UNI) A special court has reserved its verdict after arguments were concluded today in a bribery case, under the Prevention of Corruption Act, involving IAS officer Ramesh Thete, who was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs one lakh five years back.
It was being believed that Special Judge S K Raghuvanshi's court would deliver its judgement tomorrow.
Mr Thete and his wife were present in the court today.
Mr Thete was posted as Director, Employment and Training, in Jabalpur when was caught by the Lokayukta Police while accepting a bribe of Rs one lakh from Betul ITI Principal N R Borle. He was suspended by the state government one year back.
