CBI probe ordered in inclusion of blacklisted exam centres

Allahabad, Apr 10 (UNI) Allahabad High Court today ordered a CBI probe in the accredition of some blacklisted centres in Kaushambi district as examination centres again this year.

The court has asked the CBI to submit its report by May 4, the next date of hearing in the case.

The High Ccourt has further directed that the report of a probe conducted by Uttar Pradesh chief secretary in this regard and copies of his affidavits be also handed over to the central agency.

The order was passed by Justice Arun Tandon on a petition filed by Purnalal Sonkar.

Commenting on the working of the UP secondary education council, the Court said those examination centres which were blacklisted for copying have again been accredited for conducting examination.

The council had included the 34 blacklisted schools in Kaushambi district for conducting examination this year.
