ABG Shipyard bags Rs 618 cr Essar Shipping order

New Delhi, Apr 10: ABG Shipyard today said it secured a Rs 618 crore order from Essar Shipping&Logistics Ltd, Cyprus, for construction of four 54,000 dwt supramax bulk carriers.

Essar Shipping&Logistics Ltd, a subsidiary of Essar Global Ltd, is a leading sea logistics solutions provider involved in sea transportation, logistics management, transshipment and activities relating to ports and terminals.

The order is scheduled for delivery by March 2011.

The order book position of the company has reached at about Rs 40,73.77 crore, a company statement said.
