Workshop on rural development to begin in Goa tomorrow

Panaji, Apr 9 (UNI) Mineral Foundation of Goa in association with the Council for Advancement of Peoples' Action and Rural Technology (CAPART), under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Rural Development, has organised a workshop here tomorrow.

The two-day workshop on ''Capacity Building for NGO's in Rural Development'' will be inaugurated by state government Rural Development department's secretary Santosh Vaidya at the International Centre, Goa.

The workshop aims at acquainting the NGOs, besides village officers and others, with various rural development schemes of the Centre. Apart from that, it would also help networking among the concerned agencies.

Jambunath Guthi, representative and member convenor, CAPART, Regional Centre, Dharwad, besides others, will participate in the workshop.
