TRS MLAs suspended from House

Hyderabad, Apr 9 (UNI) Twelve members of the Opposition Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) were today suspended from Andhra Pradesh Assembly for stalling the proceedings of the House.

When the House reassembled after a brief adjournment, Speaker K R Suresh Reddy named the TRS members who continued to plunge the House into pandemonium demanding more Krishna water for flurosis-hit Nalgonda district in the Telangana region.

Following this, Legislative Affairs Minister K Rosaiah moved the motion for their suspension which was adopted by a voice vote.
