TN: DMDK volunteers holds fast

Kancheepuram, Apr 9: DMDK volunteers staged a day's fast here today demanding the setting up of a court at Sriperumbudur.

The agitationists said the Sriperumbudur Taluk comprised 120 villages with a population of approximately five lakh people.

Litigants had to travel 30 kms to courts in either Kancheepuram or Tambaram putting them to extreme hardship, they claimed and sought action to alleviate the sufferings of the litigants.
