Teenaged Class VII student hangs self after failing in exams

New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) A 14-year-old student today allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in Rohini area of North-West Delhi, after failing in her final exams.

Payal, studying in a government school close to her Rohini Sector 20 residence, allegedly hanged herself from the bathroom shower, according to the police.

She had failed in her Class VII exam for the second time which left her depressed, police added.

No suicide note has been found.

She was one of the four children of Sharad Kumar, who worked as a labourer.
