SatNav Technologies unveils GPS navigation software

Hyderabad, Apr 9 (UNI) SatNav Technologies, an IT service provider, has come out with a state-of-the-art GPS navigation software, which could be installed in Pocket PCs, I-mate, Dopod and other windows-based mobile devices, a company release here said.

The release also quoted, SatNav Technologies Founder and Managing Director Amit Prasad as saying, "the software would upgrade the mobile device into a high end navigation device. With over 300,000 windows-based handheld devices in the country, we are confident that we will be able to tap a significant 25 per cent market share." He said an all India database was being launched to enable the mobile users in 33,000 towns and cities across country to use the SatGuide software and nagivate from one city or town to another.

SatNav Technologies, incorporated in 2004, was a product-focused company launched by the SatNav Group.
