Raghvulu to lead cycle rally

Tirupati, Apr 9 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist) Andhra Pradesh Secretary B V Raghvulu will lead a cycle rally from Puttur Mandalm on April 13 to press the state government on welfare of the Scheduled Castes(SC).

Talking to reporters, Party District Secretary K Murali said 'Kula Vivaksha Vythireka Porata Sangham' (KVPS), a frontal organisation of the party, had already launched cycle rallies from five places in Chittoor district, which would culminate here on Ambedkar Jayanthi Day.

He said demands, included reservation for dalits in private sector, release of special funds for SC welfare and reconstitution of the SC commission.
