N Railway introduces spl trains to clear Summer rush

New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) In order to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Summer season, the Northern railway has augmented the passenger carrying capacity of many trains and has introduced several Summer special trains.

The capacity of the 2951/2952 New Delhi-Mumbai Central Rajdhani Express, the 2953/2954 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Mumbai Central-Hazrat Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani Express train, the 2907/2908 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Bandra Terminus Maharastra Sampark Kranti Express train, the 9263/9264 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Porbandar Express train and the 2919/2920 Jammu Tawi-Indore Malwa Express train will be augmented between April and June.

The trains include the 0231 Howrah-New Delhi (Superfast) bi weekly summer special train that will depart from Howrah at 2015 hours on every Monday and Saturday from May 5 to June 11 to arrive at New Delhi at 2045 Hours the next day. In the return direction the 0232 New Delhi-Howrah (Superfast) bi weekly summer special train will depart from New Delhi at 0710 hours on every Wednesday and Monday from May 7 to June 13 to arrive at Howrah at 0600 hours the next day.

The train will stop at Kanpur, Allahabad, Mughal Sarai, Dehro-On-Sone,Gaya, Koderma, Pareshnath, Dhanbad&Asansol stations enroute in both the directions.

Another train to be launched is the 0235 Howrah-Dehradun (Superfast) weekly summer special train that will depart from Howrah at 1250 Hours on every Thursday from May 3 to June 14 to arrive Dehradun at 1805 hours the next day. The train will stop at Haridwar, Najibabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Patna, Mokama, Jhajha, Jasidih and Madhupur stations enroute in both the directions.

Other trains to be launched are the 2036B New Delhi-Lucknow Tri Weekly Shatabdi Special train, that will stop Ghaziabad, Moradabad and Bareilly stations enroute in both the directions, the 0424 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Darbhanga bi weekly special train that will stop at New Delhi, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Ballia, Chhapra, Sonepur, Hazipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur stations enroute in both the directions and the 0403A New Delhi-Jammu Tawi A.C. Special Train that will stop at Panipat, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt and Chakki Bank stations enroute in both the directions.
