Kerala to host animation festival
New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) A two-day Animation Festival will be held at Kochi in Kerala from May 4 to focus on latent talent in 2D and 3d cartooning and to showcase it for the public.
Kerala Cultural Affairs Minister M A Baby told mediapersons here today that the festival would go a long way in encouraging new talents to come to the growing field of animation.
The event--ANIYUG--is being organised by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and Access Atlantech Technologies, a well known name in media education industry.
He said the entries for the festival could be sent during April 10-30.
Each film should not be more than 10 minutes in length.
The films should be computer graphic animation (2D/3D) and 3D rendered films (including stop-motion and clay animation).
