Jammu, Apr 9 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today said his government is planning to appoint an education advisory committee for recommending reformative measures in the existing system of education in the state.

Speaking at a function on the eve of ''Lecturer's Day'', Mr Azad said reviewing of the education system at regular intervals is necessary to inculcate in it the changing demands of the time.

''The education advisory committee would comprise an expert panel of renowned educationists. A ''short term committee'' would also be appointed to recommend for streamlining the process,'' he added.
