Jan Morcha demands action against Jaunpur DM

Lucknow, Apr 9 (UNI) Former Prime Minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh headed Jan Morcha (JM) today demanded the Election Commission (EC) to take action against Jaunpur District Magistrate for allegedly harassing a party canditate.

In a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), JM general secretary Mukesh Singh alleged Jaunpur DM Anurag Yadav is dancing to the tune of the ruling Samajwadi Party and unnecessarily harassing party candidate from Khuthan assembly constituency Shiv Pratap alias Nate.

The DM has also issued a notice to Mr Pratap under the Gangster Act, Mr Singh claimed.
