Indian businessmen play significant role: Shanmugaratnam
Hyderabad, Apr 9 (UNI) Singapore Minister for Education Tharman Shanmugaratnam today said the Indian Corporate sector was playing a major role in Indo-Singapore trade relations.
Addressing the Andhra Pradesh unit of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mr Shanmugaratnam said the Industries from Andhra Pradesh should explore business opportunities in Singapore.
CII Deputy Chairman B V R Mohan Reddy said the CII was dedicated in building a strong economic partnership with Singapore.
Satyam Computer Services Limited Chairman B Ramalinga Raju lauded Singapore for its leadership qualities, immense knowledge and technological skills.
Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Rajaram said Singapore and India share centuries-old relationship and trade had been a major factor in enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
