Hot day condition prevail in Madhya Pradesh

Pune, Apr 9 (UNI) Hot day conditions prevailed at isolated places in east Madhya Pradesh, while day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana and in remaining parts of east Madhya Pradesh.

It was above normal in some parts of Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch, Chattisgarh, coastal Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

They were markedly below normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and in remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh. It was appreciably below normal in Sikkim, coastal Orissa and in remaining parts of Telangana. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at a few places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and at isolated places in Orissa, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, south Konkan and Goa, south Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gujarat, north Konkan, north Madhya Maharashtra and Andman and Nicobar Islands.

Heavy to very heavy rains have occurred at most places in Assam and Meghalaya.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim north interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Haryana, east Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Jharkhand, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Punjab, Himahchal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Andhra Pradesh and coastal and south interior Karnataka.
