Delhi Budget on April 16

New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) Delhi Finance Minister A K Walia will present the state's budget in Delhi Assembly on April 16.

Delhi's budget 2007-08 would be presented on April 16 and debated thereafter before being put to vote on March 19, Assembly Speaker Prem Singh said today.

The budget session recommences on April 11, after Vote-on-Account for the first three months was presented on March 21 and the Assembly went into a three-week recess due to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections.

The budget session would continue till April 23.

The members would also discuss the LG's Address, which was made on March 23, and move a Motion of Thanks.
