Case against Rajnath violation democratic values: Raj BJP

Jaipur, Apr 9 (UNI) Rajasthan BJP has termed the filing of FIR against party national President Rajnath Singh in the infamous Compact Disk (CD) case as violation of democratic values and with a malicious intent to check the growing influence of the party in the poll bound Uttar Pradesh.

In a memorandum addressed to President A P J Abdul Kalam presented to Rajasthan Governor today the party said the registration of criminal cases against a national leader of the party has set a bad precedent and was against the democratic values that could be misused at the lowest levels.

BJP state president Dr Mahesh Sharma led the delegation.
