BJP candidate booked for 'manhandling' policemen

Siddharthnagar, Apr 9 (UNI) A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) assembly poll candidate has been charged with manhandling police personnel in the district.

BJP candidate Harishankar Singh along with his 15 supporters had entered into a scuffle with police in Etwa area yesterday.

Superintendent of Police P K Srivastava said investigations are on and so far no arrest has been made.
