Belgaum AP records 2 cm rainfal in the State

Bangalore, Apr 9 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Dry weather prevailed over South Interior Karnataka.

Chief Amounts of rainfall (cm): Joida, Khanapur and Belgaum AP 2 each.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka, appreciably above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin:Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Uttara Kannada, Belgaum, Bijapur,Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Kodagu districts. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the remaining districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Thudery conditions possible towards Evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 34 degree celsius.
