Veteran freedom fighter dead

Thrissur, Apr 8 (UNI) Veteran Freedom Fighter and Former MLA C S Gangadharan passed away in a private hospital here today.

He was 80.

He is survived by his wife Vijaylakshmi, two sons and four daughters.

Mr Gangadharan had represented Irrinjalakuda constitutency of this district in the State Assembly from 1970-77 as Kerala Socialist Party member.

He was admitted to hospital two days ago after he vomited blood.

The funeral will take place tomorrow at Vadukkara here.
