Two suspected militants arrested in Jammu

Jammu, Apr 8 (UNI) Police today arrested two suspected militants here in the city during the security checks, which have been intensified in view of the forthcoming Jammu Festival, official sources said.

Acting on a tip off, police arrested the suspected militants at Khatika Talab in the heart of the city.

The duo was later handed over to the counter-intelligence wing of criminal investigation department for interrogation, sources said.

However, the names of the militants and their outfit was not disclosed.

The 'City of Temples' will be celebrating a three-day-long Jammu Festival on april 13 -- the baisakhi day.
