Two minors killed in fire in Allahabad district

Allahabad, Apr 8 (UNI) Two minors were burnt alive, here in a fire in Majara-prem-nagar village under Paschim Sharira police station last evening, police today said.

According to police, the two deceased Sonu (2) and Soni (4) were alone in their hut when it was gutted by a sudden fire.

Local residents were late in their attempts to extinguish the fire or save the children.

Sita, the mother of the two, also received serious injuries as she rushed home and attempted to save her children, police added.
