Two found dead at harvesting tank in Doda

Doda, Apr 8 (UNI) Two men were found dead in a harvesting tank at Dronejhnani village in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today, official sources said.

They were identified as Janak Singh, 31, and Sanjeet Kumar, 26.

People today found their clothes and shoes lying near a pond, constructed by a developmental agency for harvesting purpose. Local swimmers were called in for the search who fished out the bodies of the duo.

According to the sources, locals had started a search for them after the two did not return to their home till last evening.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
