Two dead, three injured in lightning

Ranchi, Apr 8 (UNI) Altogether two people, including a woman, died and three others were critically injured by lightning in two separate incidents here today.

Police said four of the victims had taken shelter under a tree during heavy rains at Itho village here when lightning struck them.

One of them died on the spot and the three injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, in a similar incident, a woman was killed in the Khunti area.
