Tourist dies under suspicious circumstances in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 8 (UNI) A tourist was found dead at Tangmarg near the world famous ski resort of Gulmarg in suspicious circumstances, police said today.

They said Tirath Paul, a resident of Janakpuri in New Delhi, died at Kawnari under the jurisdiction of Tangmarg police station, in mysterious circumstances.

However, police did not rule out the death due to cardiac arrest.

They said proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated to ascertain the actual cause of death.
