Shopper's Stop targets 0 mln revenues from JV

New Delhi, Apr 8 (UNI) Retail chain Shopper's Stop today said it expects to clock revenues of 240 million dollars from its joint venture with Germany's Nuance Group AG in seven years.

The company stated that the JV 'Nuance Group (India) Pvt Ltd' has been awarded a contract to operate retail business at the Hyderabad international airport.

The contract will commence in March 2008, when the new airport is scheduled to open with this concession, a statement said.

Hyderabad Airport has awarded the concession to operate retail at both the international and domestic terminals to the consortium of these two companies.

The international retail will be managed by the joint venture company whereas Shopper's Stop will handle retail in the domestic part.

The two contracts together cover retail space of about 28,450 sq ft for a duration of seven years. Over the contract, the concession's estimated worth is 240 million dollars.
